A little bit about us!
My name is Kirsten Swanson. I am originally from Lynbrook, New York, & currently residing in Downers Grove with my family. My husband, Tom, & I have three children: Brian (14), Drew (13), and Kacie (7). We also have a lovable & energetic golden doodle named Kloie.
I am the proud owner of Signs & Love Event Rentals. Our offerings include yard signs, balloons, photo booths, rental props, & so much more. We also have an intimate event space in downtown Downers Grove.
This business is a dream come true for me. When I was 15, my mom & I planned my sweet 16, meticulously designing every detail to make our guests feel happy, included, & special. Unfortunately, she passed away before the event, but her dedication to making everyone feel special left a lasting impression on me. In 2020, when my son's birthday party was canceled due to COVID-19, I was determined to still create a special experience for him, reminiscent of my mother's efforts always. This led to the birth of Signs & Love, where I now have the opportunity to help others create memorable celebrations for their loved ones.
